About Electronic Journals

Introduction

The sites below offer varying degrees of full-text availability of legal and law-related journals. Some sites offer little or no searchability, and thus function best as convenient alternatives for document delivery rather than as research tools. For a listing of research tools used to locate articles within legal journals, see Other Periodicals Indexes & Abstracts.

Additionally, the UO Libraries subscribe to many law-related journals not covered by the sites listed above. All journals owned by the UO Libraries in print, microform, or electronic format are listed in the UO Library Catalog. To check for full-text availability in an electronic format, use FindText.

Full-Text Legal Journals

These sites provide varying levels of full-text journal coverage and search capabilities. Most comprehensive in scope and searchability are LEXIS-NEXIS and Westlaw. For full-text of journal articles too old to be included in either of those databases, try Hein-On-Line first.
